Put the bike on the trainer and popped in Spinervals 18. I simultaneously watched Leaves of Grass while riding, which may or may not have been a good idea.
My bones HURT when I started riding. Like I bruised them. I was unsure whether I would be able to ride for fifteen minutes, let alone an entire hour. It was pretty brutal. But I switched positions regularly and ended up down in the drops a lot (partially because Coach Troy required it, partially because that's the only place I could rotate my hips far enough to be able to stand the pain).
I tried to keep my heart rate in the upper 140s. Sometimes I'd find that I'd slipped down to 136, but for the most part, I think I did pretty good. The Garmin website was down, so I haven't loaded up my data yet. Will do soon.
